Ronald Joinder Case
Ronald Joinder
Ronald v. Bank of America or Ronald v. BAC: There is quite a bit of chatter around the internet about a mass action case that was filed against Bank of America and we have taken a look at the pleading and have talked to one of the law firms aggregating members for this case. In Ronald v. bank of America the pleading, which can be downloaded from our servers here: ronald v bank of america makes some pretty far reaching accusations against Countrywide for running a ponzi scheme of sorts effectively over bloating the values of California real estate and then plunging the state and the rest of the country with it into recession. A joinder case is different from a class action in that each plaintiff is treated as a separate plaintiff rather than a class member. Up till recently it is our understanding that members of the case were not being foreclosed upon by Bank of America but there was no court order in place preventing BAC from foreclosing on the Ronald Joinder members. Members of the Ronald Joinder case are being aggregated by the Brookstone firm in Newport Beach but there are alot of 3rd parties making public claims that they have been retained (both law firms and other non-law firm third parties) to aggregate members of this Joinder case. There are cease and desist orders that have been paraded in the press against several groups including k2 law and the mass litigation alliance demanding that they stop “marketing” this ronald joinder case publically.
It appears that a firm MJ Stein filed this Ronald Joinder case but there are other firms on some of the articles and other attorneys who we guess are helping to litigate the case. We received this morning a notice that a motion requesting foreclosure relief for all members of the case was denied this morning. We are following the Ronald Joinder case and would suggest that anyone looking for more information goto (click) BankClassActions.com and fill out a homeowner profile. Those guys match homeowner profiles with class action and mass action cases against predatory lenders and they report on the Ronald Joinder to their members.
